In this role, she was a key member of the executive team that was responsible for launching Advisor Group as a stand-alone enterprise upon its divestiture from AIG and sale to Lightyear Capital. She subsequently played a central role on the C-suite team of Advisor Group in driving the sale of the firm from Lightyear Capital to Reverence Capital Partners. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Pratt served on the deal team responsible for Advisor Group’s merger with Ladenburg Thalman in a transaction valued at $1.4 billion. During her tenure with Advisor Group, Ms. Pratt built the company’s centralized wealth management platform and scaled it for substantial growth, generating net new asset flows from $1.6 billion in 2014 to $12.3 billion by 2021, when she retired from the company.
Forever the optimist who believes that with great disruption comes great opportunity, Ms. Pratt led some of the most significant regulatory initiatives for the industry. She served as Advisor Group’s executive sponsor for both its DOL and Reg BI initiatives, presenting on roadshows all over the country.
Cetera Financial Group, LPL Financial, and The Financial Services Network:
Prior to Advisor Group, Ms. Pratt served as Managing Director, Wealth Management at Cetera Financial Group, one of the nation’s largest independent financial advisor networks. In this role, she spearheaded the firm’s wealth management platform creation and development. She also served as a member of the leadership team that led Cetera through its sale by Lightyear Capital in 2014.
Ms. Pratt was also President and CEO of The Financial Services Network, one of the largest independent hybrid RIA firms in the country. When The Network merged with Associated Securities, Ms. Pratt became President of the combined organizations, where she led the integration of Associated Securities into LPL Financial with 94% retention of all advisors. Post integration she joined LPL as Senior Vice President, Business Consulting where she was responsible for relationship management, business consulting, succession planning and training and education. Her mission was to support same store sales growth, improve advisor satisfaction and retention, and increase adoption of LPL financial tools, services and platforms.
